The Feds Got Martha

To the Editor:

Hooray — the Feds got Martha. It’s a good thing?

Who among us wouldn’t do the same thing given the opportunity? Be honest.

Millions of dollars to prosecute one who made $40,000. How about a few million to get the big shots from Tyco, WorldCom, Enron, etc who stole billions from the little guy investing in their retirement believing the thieves who told them all was hunky-dory and keep investing. The little guys lost everything while the big guys walked away with billions of their hard-earned cash. Justice? Will they get anything back?

Perhaps the feds were just going after a woman who came from nowhere to make it big in a man’s world.

I’m not a Martha admirer. It just isn’t fair.
