Wilma E.   Batista
Wilma E. (Jacob) Batista, 65, of Newtown, wife of Eduardo Batista, died at Danbury Hospital on March 16.
Wilma was born in Germany, December 19, 1938, daughter of the late Adolf and Helga (Uhl) Jacob. She graduated school in Kaiserlautern, Germany, and came to the United States in 1956. She was a franchisee of the Dunkinâ Donuts stores in the Danbury area.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Susan Williams OâShea of Dallas, Texas; William Williams III of New Milford; Judith Williams Kisseberth of Fairfield; James Williams of Danbury; and stepson, Steve Batista of New Milford; as well as two brothers and sisters: Edgar Jacob, Gunther Jacob, Else Eckfelder, and Helga Langdon, all of Germany; and seven grandchildren; Lauren OâShea Knittle, Meaghan OâShea, George OâShea, Eric Williams, Hailey Kisseberth, William Kisseberth and Jacob Kisseberth; and one great-grandson, Faroh Knittle.
Funeral services were scheduled to be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Thursday, March 18, at 7:30 pm. Entombment was scheduled to take place at St Peter Cemetery Mausoleum on Friday, March 19, at 11:30 am.
Friends were invited to call at the Green Funeral Home, Thursday, March 18, from 5 to 7:30 pm.
