Lynn M.       Staskiewicz

Lynn M. Staskiewicz, 45, of 71 High Rock Road, Sandy Hook, died March 16 at Danbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Thomas G. Staskiewicz.

Mrs Staskiewicz was born in Waterbury, on May 17, 1954, daughter of Betty J. (Mowrey) Shilinskas of Daytona Beach, Fla., and the late Edmund J. Shilinskas. She had lived in Sandy Hook for the past eight years, and in Brookfield and Naugatuck prior to that. A graduate of Mattatuck Community College and Connecticut State University, she was a registered nurse at Danbury Hospital for 22 years. She also had worked as a nurse for Lakeview Convalescent Home in Prospect. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Church in Brookfield.

Besides her husband and her mother, she leaves one son, Benjamin Thomas Staskiewicz of Milford; one sister, Gayle Smith of Laurel, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on March 20 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Junction Road (Route 133), Brookfield. Burial was at the convenience of the family.

The Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, was in charge of arrangements.
