The Recorded Book
DANBURY â Ever wonder how the narrators on recorded books keep all the characters and voices straight? How do they prepare for these extraordinary roles as book narrators?
Faith Middleton, the most of The Faith Middleton Show on Connecticut Public Radio and Television, will find out the answer to these questions and more as she interviews Barbara Rosenblat, one of the most popular and sought-after book narrators in the country, at Danbury Libraryâs program âWhoâs Behind That Voice.â
The program will be on Thursday, April 6, from 7 to 8 pm, in the Farioly Program Room. It is free and open to the public.
Ms Middleton has been twice awarded journalismâs highest national honor, the George Foster Peabody Award for national broadcast journalism. She has also contributed to National Public Radio and Connecticut Public Television. Additionally, she is a food columnist for The Hartford Courant Sunday edition and author of The Goodness of Ordinary People.
