Bladder Control Program March 27

BRIDGEPORT — “Bladder Control: We Shouldn’t Be Embarrassed” is the next presentation of St Vincent’s Senior Wellness Series on Monday, March 27, at 1 pm in St Vincent’s Medical Center’s Hawley 1 Conference Center on the main level.

Evergreen Club 50 Director and Senior Wellness Series Coordinator Carol Kuhta says, “Our series of talks is focusing on how seniors can improve their quality of life through educating themselves about health and social issues affecting them. This presentation will help to alleviate the stigma attached to a common aging problem.”

The featured speaker is urologist martin Reichgut, MD, on active staff at St Vincent’s Medical Center. Dr Reichgut will discuss bladder control and other urological problems that seniors experience, focusing on symptoms and treatment, and how to cope with the problem without embarrassment.

The senior program, which is free and open to the public, is being sponsored by St Vincent’s Evergreen Club 50, Parish Nurse Program, and Department of Case Management.

Free blood pressure checks will be performed at 1 pm, with the talk at 1:30 pm.
