Erica Anne Hugyo and Roy Albert Waterhouse were united in marriage on April 10, 1999, in the First Congregational Church, Newtown, with the Rev Steven Gordon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Anne Hugyo of Newtown.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Joan Waterhouse of Danbury.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore an ivory satin and French re-embroidered princess line gown with an A-line skirt, long laced sleeves, and chapel length train. The headpiece was lace and bead overlay, with a finger tip and cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses.
The maid of honor was the brideâs sister, Michele Hugyo of Newtown.
The bridesmaids were Kim Silvia of Middletown, R.I., Melissa Chuvala of Rhododendron, Ore., and Meghan Burke of Bethel, cousins of the bride; Becky DâAlessio of New Milford; and Terry Waterhouse, sister of the groom, of New Milford.
The bridal attendants wore a wide strap, floor-length rosewood satin dress with a boat neck collar, and carried bouquets of long stem pink and ivory roses.
The best man was Roger Waterhouse, brother of the groom, of Danbury.
The ushers were Kenny Waterhouse and Donnie Waterhouse, brothers of the groom, of Danbury;Â Nikko DâAlessio of New Milford; and John Daddanna of Danbury.
The flower girl was Dayna Beardsley, cousin of the bride, of Bethel.
The ring bearer was Shamus Craft of New Milford.
The bride graduated from Newtown High School and Naugatuck Valley Technical Community College with an associate degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher at Almost Home Child Care and Preschool in Ridgefield.
The bridegroom attended Henry Abbott Technical School. He is a machinist at Tridak in Brookfield.
The reception was held at the Fireside Inn, Newtown.
After a wedding trip to Lake Beuna Vista, Fla., Mr and Mrs Waterhouse are residing in Brookfield.
