Off The Road
Police report that motorist Christopher P. Landock, 33, of Seymour, who was driving a 1988 Honda CRX-SI eastbound on Route 34 about 10:15 pm March 17, while making a curve in the road to the left between Sherman Street and Zoar Road, began to go off the right side of the road, hit a patch of sand, lost control, overcorrected the carâs steering, and then crossed over both lanes of the road, went off the left road shoulder, climbed an embankment and struck some trees and rocks.
Landock then drove the badly damaged car back onto Route 34 and headed eastbound, turning off onto Zoar Road, where he was found with a deep cut in his scalp, police said.
Landock was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment, police said. Enforcement action is pending.
