Lois Audrey Buchanan Grich

Lois Audrey Buchanan Grich, 78, of Monroe, beloved wife of Charles Grich, died March 19 at St Vincent Medical Center. Mrs Grich was born on August 30, 1928, and was the daughter of Frederick and Hazel (Davis) Buchanan.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Nancy Hall Censabella and her husband, Peter, of Sandy Hook and Karen Armistead and her husband, Stanley, of Derby; two sons, Charles A. Grich and his wife, Lillian, of Monroe and Kenneth W. Grich and his wife, Kathy, of New Milford; five cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Hall, Abigail Grich, Andrew Grich, Tamera Armistead, and Danielle Armistead. She was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Buchanan and Raymond Buchanan; and a sister, Mildred B. Grasso.

Mrs Grich was a very active member of the United Methodist Church of Monroe and the Friendship Circle at the Church. She was a member of Trout Unlimited and was a River Keeper. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
