Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance Planned In Town This Week
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has announcing three Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertifications coming up on March 25 into March 26.
The first will be performed on I-84 Westbound at Exit 9. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, March 25, and be completed on Thursday, March 26.
Project 0170-3638 consists of Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertification on I-84 westbound, Exit 9.
CT DOT's detour is as follows: Take Exit 8 onto Route 6 westbound, left at the split toward I-84 eastbound. Left onto Route 6 eastbound, back onto I-84 East (Exit 8 on ramp), take Exit 9 east.
The second project will be performed on I-84 West and East, Exit 10. This project is also scheduled to occur on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25-26.
Project 0170-3638 consists of Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertification on I-84 West and East, Exit 10. The night work schedule for this project is 7 pm to 5 am.
Detours are is as follows: For Exit 10 East take I-84 East to Exit 11, to Wasserman Way, to Berkshire Road, to Church Hill Road.
For Exit 10 West take I-84 West to Exit 9, to Route 25. Proceed to the Exit 9 onramp for I-84 Eastbound to exit 10.
The third will be performed on I-84 West and Eastbound, Exit 11. This project is also scheduled to occur on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25-26.

For I-84 West Exit 11 take Exit 10 to Church Hill Road to Berkshire Road to Wasserman Way.
