William Colbert

William Colbert, 94, died on March 26 at St Patrick’s Home in the Bronx, N.Y. A native of Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, Ireland, he was born on June 3, 1905.

He was the husband of the late Rose Ann Colbert.

He is survived by a son, William Colbert, and his wife, Maryann, of Newtown.

Survivors include his other sons and their wives, Neil and Ann Colbert, Bernard and Laura Colbert, and Maurice Patrick and Susan Colbert; a daughter and her husband, Patricia and Mike O’Reilly; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Theresa Colbert.

The funeral was held March 28 from the Williams Funeral Home, Inc., 5628 Broadway at 232nd Street, Bronx, N.Y., to a Mass of Christian Burial in St John’s Church. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y.
