Tuesday, March 24: 8:02 pm, smoke/odor investigation, 24 Toddy Hill Road, Sandy Hook responded.

Wednesday, March 25: 8:57 am, MVA, I-84 West Exits 11 & 10, Sandy Hook responded.

Connecticut State Police, Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue, and Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the area of I-84 West between the Exit 11 off- and on-ramps around 7:30 am Wednesday, March 25, following a three-vehicle crash. One person was transported to the hospital. The crash created slowdowns of two-plus miles before vehicles and those involved could clear from the highway.
