Pauline M. Bennett

Pauline M. Bennett, 74, a former resident of Georgetown for 57 years, died on March 5 in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she had made her home since 1980. She was the wife of Robert Bennett.

She was the mother of Mark Bennett of Newtown.

Mrs Bennett was born in Canton on August 8, 1925, a daughter of Beatrice Monroe of Wilton and the late William Monroe.

She was a member of the Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church and the Georgetown United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband of 55 years, son, and mother, Mrs Bennett is survived by three other sons, Robert Bennett, Jr, of Stamford and Richard and Paul Bennett of Danbury; one daughter, Patti Honan of Sharon; two brothers, William Monroe of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Robert Monroe of Wilton; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, April 8, at 11 am in the First United Methodist Church, 83 Main Street, Brewster, N.Y. The Rev Kenneth E. White, pastor, will officiate.
