Vote On Zoar Rd Status Postponed

The Legislative Council Wednesday agreed to table taking action on a Zoar Road application for scenic road status.

Some council members said they had not yet had the chance to tour the road and might be voting blindly. Another controversial decision regarding a scenic road application – like the Washbrook Road debacle two years ago – could really create problems, they explained.

Therefore, council members agreed to hold off on any vote until the next council meeting, April 19.
