Horse Guard Visits Danbury Hospital

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard participated in Danbury Hospital’s 20th Annual Children’s Day on March 26. Danbury Hospital’s Children’s Day, an annual signature event for children and families, promotes physical activity, good nutrition, and general wellness to children in a non-threatening way.

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard visited the hospital with troopers and horses. Gallagher and Kisses helped to promote 2GHG’s Horses For Hospital’s program, which provides plush horses to children recovering in hospitals throughout Connecticut.

Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard troopers and mounts remain, as always, “Ready To Serve.”
