Tick Prevention And Adoption At Your Healthy Pet

Your Healthy Pet, 224 South Main Street, will host a tick prevention program and three pet adoption events this month.

Jim Binkoski (the Tick Key inventor) and Donna Libby (Tick Key marketing director) will be on hand Saturday, April 10 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

The Tick Key was invented in Watertown and  is manufactured in Waterbury. In 2009, this product won Good Morning America’s Health Best Pet Product of the year and in 2010 it placed first in the international Anido Awards.

Binkoski and Libby will demonstrate the product and discuss options for tick prevention for you and your pets.

Also on April 10, the Animal Center of Newtown will hold a cat/ kitten Adoption event from 11 am to 2 pm at Your Healthy Pet.

On Sunday, April 11, Feline Welfare Society and North Shore Animal League will hold a cat/ kitten adoption event from 11 am to 3 pm.

On Sunday, April 18, The Animal Rescue will hold a dog/ puppy adoption event from 11 am to 2 pm.
