Two House Burglaries On Cedar Hill Road Under Investigation

 Police are investigating two burglaries that occurred at Cedar Hill Road homes sometime during the day on Wednesday, March 31.

The two burglaries took place at homes on the section of Cedar Hill Road lying about halfway between its intersections with Appleblossom Lane and with Pebble Road.

Police learned of one burglary at 1:46 pm, in which an unknown person had entered the home by breaking a pane of glass at the rear of the building. Apparently, no items were stolen in that incident, police said.

Police learned of the other incident at 5:08 pm. In that case, someone broke the window on the main door of that home to gain entry, police said.

An unspecified amount of jewelry was stolen from the master bedroom in that home, police said.

Police are investigating both crimes, which may have been committed by the same person, and ask anyone with information about the incidents to contact them at the police station at 203-426-5841.
