Wilbur M. Ressler

World War II Army Veteran

Wilbur M. Ressler, 88, of Fairfield, previously of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Carolyn (Lindstrom) Ressler, died April 6, at the Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Mr Kessler was born in Fairfield and was a lifelong area resident.

Survivors in addition to his wife are his devoted daughter, Rosalind Liljengren of Newtown; two granddaughters; and one brother.

Mr Ressler was a US Army World War II veteran. He was a retired draftsman for the Bullard Company, and a longtime member of the Bridgeport Camera Club.

A funeral service was scheduled for Thursday, April 8, at 7 pm, in the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours were scheduled Thursday from 5 to 7 pm.
