Yale Alley Cats Returning For Third Visit

For the third year, Music @ Trinity will welcome The Yale Alley Cats, a 14 voice all-male a cappella singing ensemble from Yale University, for a concert at Trinity Church, 36 Main Street in Newtown, on Saturday, April 10, at 7:30 pm.

The world renowned group’s musical roots are jazz, but their song list includes Motown, classical and pop. The performers are known for their musical excellence, harmonious voice and humor. The group performed in southern Europe and the Mediterranean last summer, and more recently, toured Japan.

The April 10 event will also feature members of The Trinity Choristers, a group of young voices conducted by Trinity’s Music Minister, Fiona Smith Sutherland.

A gala reception will follow, where attendees can meet and talk with the evening’s performers. Freewill concert donations will be accepted at the door.
