At the recent debate led by college students, it became immediately clear that Brandon Moore is the strongest candidate to represent Newtown in the State House.

He stepped into a room of young people and engaged voters who asked serious, no-nonsense questions that tested both his knowledge and leadership. Brandon did not hesitate. He delivered clear, confident, and well-reasoned answers across the board. He didn’t deflect. He didn’t generalize. He showed a command of the issues and an ability to communicate them in a way that was both direct and accessible.

But what stood out even more was the energy he brought into the room. Brandon has a presence that is hard to ignore. He connects with people instantly. You could feel it throughout the evening.

Young people were not just listening. They were inspired. A young woman immediately stepped forward to volunteer as an intern for his campaign. That kind of response cannot be manufactured. It comes from authenticity.

At the end of the event, I also saw a parent approach Brandon with tears in their eyes, thanking him for how much he clearly cares about education and our schools. That moment said everything.

Newtown, I hope you understand how special this person is.

At a time when families are dealing with rising costs and growing challenges, we need someone who will show up, engage, and fight for us. Brandon Moore is, without a doubt, that person for Newtown.

He has my full support, along with the support of my friends and neighbors. I hope he will have yours as well!
