Sandy Hook Deli Grand Opening, Saturday

Owners Artie and Annie Praino invite Newtowners to the grand opening of their Sandy Hook Deli and Catering at 102 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook center, Saturday, April 14, from 10 am to 2 pm. 

Boar’s Head and Pepsi will be on hand with promotions, including free Boar’s Head hot dogs, key chains, and pens.

This is the couple’s newest local business venture. They operate Newtown Deli & Catering on South Main Street, as well as the snack stand inside the Newtown Youth Academy.

“But we’re new to Sandy Hook, so we would love to show the neighborhood what we have to offer,” said Ms Praino.

The shop will offer the Prainos’ signature 99-cent bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches. There will be a raffle for a $50 gift certificate from Sandy Hook Deli for a future party or catering job, and visitors can sample “Nature’s Nosh” organic salads. 

“These are new to our deli, and offer a healthier option,” Ms Praino said.
