Peter A. Locke, 79, of Washington Depot, died April 11, at home. Mr Locke was born in New Milford, December 19, 1931, son of Ida (Anderson) and Oscar Locke. He was the husband of Diane M. (Clavette) Locke.

In addition to his wife of 45 years, two sons, including Christopher Peter Locke of Newtown, and three grandchildren survive Mr Locke. Three siblings predeceased him.

Mr Locke was an engineer at Southern New England Telephone Company for 35 years, retiring in 1986.

He was a member of St Peter’s Lodge #21 of New Milford, AARP of Washington, Telephone Pioneers of America, a choir member of Salem Covenant Church, and a former Boy Scout.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 15, at 2 pm, at Salem Covenant Church, Washington Depot. Burial will follow at Washington Green Cemetery, Washington.

Arrangements are by the Lillis Funeral Home, New Milford.
