Adopt Sally Sox From The Animal Center
SALLY SOX is available for adoption from The Animal Center. While checking on one of the feral cat colonies, an Animal Center volunteer came across a pregnant Sally Sox wandering around a busy commercial district.
Animal Center officials inquired with representatives from the local businesses to see if they were missing a cat resembling Sally Sox. Some had seen her and even fed her before, but no one knew who she belonged to. It is unknown why this sweet, people-friendly cat was on her own, but Sally Sox adores everyone she meets and seems grateful to no longer be on the streets. In late March, Sally Sox gave birth to six kittens and tends to them day and night. Sally Sox wonât be ready for adoption until her kittens are weaned and she can be spayed (late May), but Animal Center officials are starting their search for a good home for Sally Sox now since adults take much longer to place than kittens.
Good news: Sabrina has been adopted.
To adopt, contact The Animal Center at info@theanimalcenter.org or 203-270-0228 (email preferred on weekends).
