Annual NBLA Membership Dinner Meeting Is April 20
The Newtown Bridle Lands Association (NBLA) will hold its annual membership meeting on Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 pm, at Newtown Meeting House, at the flagpole on Main Street.
The meeting is open to everyone interested in preserving trails and open space. Although the organization is horse-oriented, NBLA encourages anyone with an interest in preservation and passive use of trails to participate.
Dinner will be provided and guests will have an opportunity to learn about the activities of NBLA and meet some of the members.
NBLA hosts a number of events throughout the year, including educational seminars, clinics, show and go trail rides, Members Fun Day, and the annual Frost On The Pumpkin Hunter Pace in October. NBLA was started in 1978 and has worked since then to save, enhance, and increase trails for multiple use in the Newtown area, as well as to promote horse activity.
Anyone wishing to attend the NBLA Membership dinner, or who wants more information, is asked call Anita at 203-743-6225 or send an email with questions to newtownhorses@charter.net.
