Bethel Blooms At Public Library

BETHEL — The Bethel Public Library’s Board of Directors will offer flowers and other items for sale during Bethel Blooms to raise funds needed to complete the library building.

Bethel Blooms is be a two day event to celebrate the arrival of spring with a number of specials, sales, raffles and other events in the downtown/Greenwood Avenue area of Bethel. There will be giant “blooms” created by local artisans and residents for the Third Annual Bethel Bloom Contest, as well as the Second Annual Bethel Students’ Art Show.

Bethel Blooms will run Friday and Saturday, April 23-24, from 10 am to 5 pm.

The library’s event will run on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Pansies and small herb gardens, as well as collectible mini oil lamps and the recently published library history book will all be offered. Face painting will also be available, and all proceeds (at the library’s event) will support the Bethel Library Capital Campaign.
