Fraser-Woods School Annual Spring Gala Is May 1
On May 1 Fraser-Woods School is sponsoring its 15th annual spring gala and auction. The event will have a Parisian theme and feature live entertainment, dinner, and dancing and will be held at 707 On Main in Monroe.
More than 40 parent volunteers are committed to this fundraising effort to help sustain and advance Fraser-Woodsâ commitment to providing a Montessori education for grades kindergarten through eighth grade, as well as the younger students in the lower school and toddler programs. Auction proceeds are dedicated to the Fraser-Woods School tuition assistance program.
In addition to the May 1 gala, this year the schoolâs Parent Association has added a four-day online auction being conducted April 15 through April 18 at www.biddingforgood.com/fraserwoods. This auction is open to the general public and includes a number of exciting donations from the greater community, including gift certificates to local restaurants and fitness venues, a broad range of services including legal work and general contracting, tickets to local museums and area attractions, and more.
This yearâs auction is being co-chaired by Danbury resident Donna Waltzer and Newtown resident Patti Gattinoni.
To purchase tickets to the May 1 Gala or make a donation, contact Ms Gattinoni at 203-395-8599. To view auction items and participate in the online auction, go to the previously mentioned website.
