The radio dispatchers at the Newtown Emergency Communications Center at Town Hall South, 3 Main Street, report the following fire calls and the responders:

Thursday, April 9: 1:07 pm, chimney fire, 40 Algonquin Trail, Sandy Hook and Botsford responded.

Friday, April 10: 7:28 pm, investigation, 49 Elizabeth Circle, Sandy Hook responded.

Saturday, April 11: 8:48 am, medical assist, St George Place, Sandy Hook responded; 5:03 pm, odor of gas indoors, 36 Chestnut Hill Road, Sandy Hook responded; 5:08 pm, illegal burn/outdoor fire, near 25 Lyrical Lane, Sandy Hook responded; 5:53 pm, illegal burn/outdoor fire, near 13 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook responded; 7:41 pm, wires down, near intersection of Mile Hill Road South and Nunnawauk Road, Hook & Ladder responded.    

Sunday, April 12: 6:43 am, medical assist, Mt Pleasant Road, Hawleyville responded.

Monday, April 13: 8:44 am, initial report of a structure fire which actually was an electrical problem, 103 South Main Street, Hook & Ladder, Botsford, and Sandy Hook responded; 9:19 am, alarm, 42 Taunton Hill Road, Hawleyville and Dodgingtown responded; 9:48 am, hazardous condition, near 66 Church Hill Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 2:54 pm, investigation, 24 Farm Field Ridge Road, Sandy Hook responded; 9:50 pm, structure fire, 52 Taunton Lake Road, Hook & Ladder, Hawleyville, Botsford, Sandy Hook, and Southbury responded; 9:50 pm, alarm, 6 Queen Street, Hook & Ladder responded.

Tuesday, April 14: 11:14 pm, alarm, 34 Church Hill Road, Hook & Ladder responded. 

Wednesday, April 15: 2:51 am, medical assist, Philo Curtis Road, Sandy Hook responded; 9:07 am, public service, 45 Main Street, Hook & Ladder responded; 12:30 pm, brush fire, near the intersection of Toddy Hill Road and Button Shop Road, Botsford and Sandy Hook responded; 5:39 pm, medical assist, Meadow Brook Road, Botsford responded; 7:07 pm, public service, intersection of Main Street, Church Hill Road, and West Street, Hook & Ladder responded.
