‘Emerging Artists’ Call For Entries

RIDGEFIELD — In an effort to promote the work of talented and under-recognized artists living in the region, The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with Ridgefield Guild of Artists, is inviting entries for a juried group exhibition.

The winners will be honored in “Radius: Emerging Artists from Connecticut and Southeastern New York,” an exhibition to be presented at The Aldrich from August 24 through September 14. To be considered for the exhibitions, submissions must be postmarked by May 12. A $10 processing fee must accompany all entries.

Artists in all media who reside in Connecticut and Westchester, Putnam, and Duchess counties in New York, and who have not yet had a one-person show in an established gallery, are invited to apply. The selection committee will view slides initially and make the final selection of three to five artists based on studio visits.

Previous winners have gone on to receive grants and museum shows.
