Out Of Touch?

To the Editor:

I’m urging all Newtown voters to please get out and vote on April 22 for the town budget and the high school expansion project.

 With today’s economy (recession and inflation) we have to vote No to both. I feel the people doing the budget process are not reading the newspapers or watching any news, because if they did they would see the state of the economy in the country and would not saddle us with this tax increase. Things are not getting better... from talking to workers in the area many are stating that work is very slow and it’s going to be difficult to make ends meet.

So again I’m asking everyone to vote No and let the powers that be come back with a budget people can live with not a wish list.
