‘Tending The Spirit,’ An Art And Spirituality Forum

LITCHFIELD — Wisdom House announces will host an art and spirituality forum titled “Acceptance and Rejection: Tending the Spirit” Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 3:30 pm.

The forum will consist of artists in conversation about the role of acceptance and rejection in their lives and how they have grown spiritually through experiencing both.

The moderator of the forum will be the poet Susan Kinsolving. The panelists will be actress Cady McClain, poet Davyne Verstandig, music director Tim Stella, painter Florin Firimita, and sculptor Joy Brown.

The fee for the program is $15.

Following the forum, there will be an opening in the Marie Louise Trichet Gallery of “Life With Clay — 35 Years,” featuring the works of Joy Brown. The opening will be from 3:30 to 5 pm, and the exhibition will remain on view until July 11.

Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
