Messy Kids’ Rooms? The Joyful Organizer Can Help

DANBURY — For parents who are tired of looking at messy kids’ rooms, The Danbury Library will help get organized with a special presentation by “The Joyful Organizer,” Bonnie Joy Dewkett.

A free presentation will be offered Saturday, April 14, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, in the library’s Farioly Program Room. Participants will learn techniques to develop organizational systems that will teach children to participate in keeping their own areas organized. Audience participation will be encouraged. Door prizes will be provided by Classy Closets, The Joyful Organizer, and The Friends of Danbury Library.

Bonnie Joy Dewkett is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and truly believes that an organized home is a joyful home. She specializes in organizational systems for moving/relocations, photo management and scrapbooking, children’s rooms and play areas, closets, basements, garages and sports equipment.

The program is open to all moms, dads and caregivers. Registration is not required.

Danbury Library is at 170 Main Street, at the corner of West Street. For additional information call the library’s Community Relations Department at 796-8061.
