Mr and Mrs Jeffrey Lamberti

Meagan Ruth Ann Reda and Jeffrey Vincent Lamberti were married October 21, 2006, by Justice of The Peace Claire Watts. The wedding ceremony was on East Sandwich Beach on Cape Cod, Mass., with a reception following at a nearby beach cottage.

The bride’s parents are Lou and Kathie Reda of Newtown. The groom’s parents are John and Mary Gatison of Hamden.

The bride was given into marriage by her father. She wore a light gold strapless A-line gown with beaded metallic embroidery on the bodice and featuring a chapel-length train. Her flowers were a cascading bouquet of orange and red roses with greens.

Matron of honor was Kelley Michael, sister of the bride and a resident of Newtown. Bridesmaids were Vanessa Sgrott of New Haven and Jessica Spinelli of the Bronx, N.Y.

The attendants all wore satin dresses, peridot green in color, with an Empire waist and grosgrain ribbon. They carried red and orange spray roses, in a Nantucket-style basket.

The best man was Shawn Ross of California. Ushers were Mike Dellaselva of Wallingford and Scott Elliott of New Haven. Daniel Michael, nephew of the bride and a resident of Newtown, was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Newtown High School.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Co-Op Arts High School in New Haven. He is currently a chef at Carmen Anthony’s in New Haven.

Following a day trip to Salem and a weeklong honeymoon on Cape Cod, the couple returned to their home in New Haven.
