Correction

A press release from the town clerk’s office that ran April 13 in The Newtown Bee listed the incorrect bottom line amount for the townwide budget referendum. The budget request going to voters is $107,806,523. Additionally, the legal notice on the budget incorrectly listed the proposed new mill rate at 29.94. The budget request, if approved, would generate a new mill rate of 24.94.
