Sugar Street Violations
Police said they were using radar speed-monitoring equipment at about 6:34 am on April 17 on Sugar Street, near Baldwin Road, when they found that motorist Michelina Palanzo, 42, of Danbury was driving a vehicle faster than the speed limit in that area, so they stopped her to investigate.
Police said they charged Palanzo with traveling unreasonably fast and with driving with a suspended license.
After processing, police released Palanzo on a written promise to appear on May 1 in Danbury Superior Court.
