Griffin Hospital Schedules Fertility Talk

DERBY — Statistics show that more than six million couples suffer from fertility problems, yet 85–90 percent of these cases can be treated with medication or surgery. There are many different types of fertility treatment, ranging from conservative approaches to the most cutting-edge technologic options.

On Wednesday, May 3, at 6:30 pm, Dr Andrew Levi will present: “What You Need To Know about Fertility Treatment!” Part of the Griffin Hospital Health Empowerment Series, this free seminar will cover which treatment options are most appropriate for patients based on age, diagnosis, and prior treatments.

A question and answer session with Dr Levi, who is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility as well as obstetrics and gynecology, will allow attendees the opportunity to ask questions related to their own individual reproductive history.

The ongoing Health Empowerment Series, featuring Griffin Hospital physicians and staff offering talks on a variety of health topics, is designed to inform participants about some of the latest treatments and encourage them to play a more active role in managing their own health.

To register, call Griffin Hospital at 203-732-1511 or visit www.griffinhealth.org.
