Albert F. Cahill, 81, of Fishkill, N.Y., formerly of Cold Spring and New Fairfield, died April 18, at Elant at Fishkill. He was born April 2, 1929, in Danbury, to Augustas and Bertha Davis Cahill.
Survivors include his devoted wife Barbara Inness Cahill of Fishkill, to whom he was married on July 26, 1985; seven loving children, including Lizbeth Moroney of Sandy Hook; two siblings; and six cherished grandchildren.
Mr Cahill was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was the chairman of Union Local 1251 for 15 years, and founder and charter member of the Ball Pond Fire Department in New Fairfield. He was retired from Republic Foil in Danbury, as a metal worker for 35 years.
He was a member of St Edwards The Confessor Church in New Fairfield.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 24, at 1 pm, at the Fishkill (N.Y.) United Methodist Church, 38 Broad Street.
