Healing Hearts Workshop For Spanish-Speaking Parents
Healing Hearts Workshop For Spanish-Speaking Parents
DANBURY â The entire family is affected when a child dies. Parents are experiencing their own loss, yet they must continue parenting other children who are also grieving.
To help support Spanish-speaking parents and caregivers at this difficult time, Healing Hearts will offer a free workshop âParenting After Lossâ to be held on April 29, from 6 to 7:30 pm. The workshop will be held in Spanish and will take place at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families at 73 Stadley Rough Road.
The workshop allows for discussion and education around the grief associated with the difficult loss of a child.
The workshop will be facilitated by Meyer Glaser, PhD, a clinical and school psychologist for Brookfield Public Schools. Dr Glaser earned a doctorate of clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and is a facilitator at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families.
The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program of Regional Hospice, offers numerous support groups, workshops and programs to the public free of cost throughout the year.
