The band will be at The Cookhouse in New Milford tonight and then at The One-Eyed Pig on South Main Street in Newtown tomorrow (Saturday, April 25).
On Fridays, May 8 and 29, as well as Friday, June 19, the guys will be back at Proud Maryâs in Newtown.
*LiveNation will be putting at least two more summer concerts on sale this weekend.
The first will be The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which will be at the Comcast Theatre (the former Meadows Music Theatre) in Hartford on Saturday, August 8, with MARILYN MANSON, SLAYER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE among the headliners. Visit MayhemFest.com for a full listing of bands.
Tickets for this show are $49.75 for general admission pit and reserved seating (be sure to specify which youâre looking for when you buy your tickets), $25.25 for lawn seating, and $79 for a four-pack of lawn tickets. These will be going on sale this morning (Friday, April 24 â my sisterâs birthday, by the way!) at 10 am through LiveNation.com or by calling 877-598-8689.
*Then tomorrow morning at 10 tickets for BRAD PAISLEYâs American Saturday Night Tour will be going on sale for a June 13 stop at the Comcast Theatre. Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne will both have opening sets, and tickets are $58.25 reserved (no mosh pt for this show), $29.75 for the lawn and $75 for a lawn foursome. These tickets will also be through the LiveNation options outlines above.
*Also going on sale this weekend will be tickets for BEYONCÃ, who is bringing her summer tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, July 23. Tickets for her show will be $95.75 and $145.75, and will be sold through TicketMaster vendors beginning Saturday morning at 10. Call 800-745-3000 or visit/contact any TicketMaster vendor.
*Itâs hard to believe that the MGM Grand at Foxwoods is about to celebrate its first anniversary already, considering what a big splash the Foxwoods resort made before its opening last year and the lack of publicity since. However, a month of first anniversary events will kick off next weekend and the first big guests in Ledyard will be THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS.
The performers, who are currently on tour with Britney Spears (who brings her Circus extravaganza to Mohegan Sun next weekend), will be at Shrine at MGM on Saturday, May 2. DJ Scene, a resident of Studio 54 at the MGM Grand in Vegas,w ill be behind the turntables next weekend, providing his distinct brand of scratching, live remixing and blend of classic party anthems to keep the Dolls and Shrine guests dancing.
Doors open at 9 and there is a $20 cover to get in. Iâd suggest calling ahead (861-312-8487) and/or visiting ShrineMGMFoxwoods.com for full details about this event.
Until next week Iâll be seeing you... on the road.
