Teaming Up For Women, At The Homesteads

The public is invited to stop by The Homesteads at Newtown during a special fundraiser event that will be held at the community.

A “Team Up For Women” event will be held Saturday, April 25, from 10 am to 2 pm. Admission is free.

There will be ten-minute chair massages, make and take craft opportunities from Stamping On Up, treats from Pampered Chef, complimentary makeovers by Mary Kay consultants, workout tips from a personal trainer, and more.

Proceeds from the day — which will come from the sale of raffle tickets as well as partial profits from the sale of participating vendors — will benefit The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, which was launched in 1996 and dedicated to ending women’s cancers and domestic abuse, as well as benefiting The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury.
