 As National Volunteer Month draws to a close, United Way of Northern Fairfield County would like to thank the hundreds of volunteers who take time out of their busy lives to give back to our community.

 To the board of directors and the various committees including marketing, resource development and planned giving, and to the Community Impact Councils and review teams, Day of Caring Committee, financial review team and the volunteers who helped during the Day of Caring and the Postal Food Drive, we extend our heartfelt thanks.

These volunteers, who in every aspect of its operation help United Way to thrive, are dedicated throughout the year to improving the quality of life in our community — to caring for people in need. Thank you for your dedication and support. You are serving those who live in this area with distinction.
