DUI Arrest

Police said they received complaints on the night of April 24 about the driving of a motorist who they then saw make a turn into a parking lot on Church Hill Road without first signaling to turn.

Police said they then stopped motorist Ronald Gavern, 53, of Trumbull to investigate, after which they gave him field sobriety tests.

Police charged Gavern with driving under the influence and with making a restricted turn.

After processing, police released Gavern on $150 bail for a May 9 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
