Beloved Mother And Grandmother

Mary C. Martone, 94, of Bridgeport, died April 20, at Masonicare of Newtown. Born November 7, 1917, in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of Antonio and Theresa Scairretta Fortuna.

Survivors include two daughters, Marion Timko. and her husband Richard, of Newtown and Sally Ann Martone of Southbury; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Mary Abraham; and several nieces and nephews. Seven siblings predeceased Mrs Martone.

Before her retirement she was a waitress at 3030 Park Health Care for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Almost Home of Danbury and Masonic Care at Newtown for all their care and compassion. 

Funeral services took place April 24. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
