May Talks On Menopause, Heart Disease

BRIDGEPORT — Bridgeport Hospital is offering the following free health talks in May on menopause and psychological issues of heart disease

“Feel Great Through Menopause,” with Bridgeport Hospital ob/gyn Roxanne Abder, MD, and endocrinologist Maria Guoth, MD,  will discuss the symptoms of menopause and ways to treat them during the free lecture, Wednesday, May 5, 7 pm, at the Trumbull Marriott, 180 Hawley Lane. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Reservations are required.

Bridgeport Hospital Chairman of Psychiatry Charles Morgan, MD, will host “Coping With Heart Disease” Wednesday, May 12, at 6:30 pm, in the fourth-floor Hollander Auditorium at Bridgeport Hospital, 267 Grant Street. The talk is sponsored by Heart Beats, Inc, the hospitals cardiac patient support group. Refreshments will be served 6 to 6:30 pm. in the second floor cafeteria.
