Banking Career

Joan Millberry, 76, of Oronoque Village in Stratford, the beloved wife of Donald Millberry, died April 23. Born in Ashland, Maine, she grew up in North Adams, Mass., where she graduated from Drury High School in 1950.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, James Millberry of Newtown; two daughters; a granddaughter; a sister; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs Millberry had a long career in the banking industry where she held various management positions in trust, treasury, and operations. Her gentle manner and kind, loving spirit will be missed very much by all who knew her.

Funeral services took place April 27. Interment followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
