MTM For our Children

To the Editor:

Remember the year 2007? May 10, 2007, to be exact... The News-Times did an article on “New Milford bus drivers work stoppage for nine-days with parents scrambling to get their children back and forth to school.” Do you know who this was?… All-Star Transportation and Teamsters Union! Isn’t All-Star the “new” company bidding for our contract?

I enjoy seeing my bus driver around town (as he also lives in town), he also believes it is “Nicer in Newtown.”

I would like to ask the Board of Education staff members (who are going to vote on this issue), do any of your own children ride the bus?

Do the right thing for our children!
