Area Restaurant Manager

Raymond A. Millbauer, 70, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died April 23. He was the son of Harold and Leontine Guimond Millbauer.

Survivors include his sister Patricia Roberto of Sandy Hook, his daughter, one grandson, three brothers, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mr Millbauer worked at and managed a number of restaurants and catering services throughout the area. He enjoyed playing and following a variety of sports and was especially fond of the Yankees and UConn Huskies. He found his experience of attending the Kentucky Derby a most memorable occasion.

Funeral services were held April 28. Burial followed in St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.

 Mr Millbaur’s family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care shown to him by the dedicated staff of both Caroltan Hospital and St Vincent’s Medical Center. Additionally, they would like to acknowledge the help given to his family by his friends, including Gail and Dick Soucy and Gladys Lucini.
