Recycling Is In The Bag

To the Editor:

Middle Gate Elementary School’s celebration of Earth Week was successful with the help of local merchants. These stores donated reusable bags for all our children: Stop & Shop, Newtown; Caraluzzi’s Market, Newtown, Big Y, Newtown; Stew Leonard’s, Danbury; Target, Danbury; Shop Rite, Brookfield; Trader Joe’s, Danbury; Walmart, Danbury. A big thank you to these merchants for helping teach the children about recycling.

The children were so excited when they received the bags. They are anxious to use their reusable bags in these stores.
