Sharon Streck-Mello of Hickory, N.C., beloved wife of Mark Mello, died April 5. Ms Streck-Mello grew up in Monroe, and was previously a resident of Naugatuck.

In addition to her devoted husband, two brothers, including Mark Streck of Newtown; four daughters; her mother; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews survive her.

A memorial service was held April 25.
