Magic Variety Show At Barnum Museum

BRIDGEPORT — Veteran magician Steve Johnson will present his “Magic Variety Show” on Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 am, at The Barnum Museum, 820 Main Street in Bridgeport. The show will be the season’s final program in Bridgeport Hospital’s “Breakfast at The Barnum” series of family entertainment.

Doors will open at 10 am when a free continental breakfast will be served and a child safety program will be presented by staff of the hospital’s P. T. Barnum Pediatric Center.

Performing before live audiences since 1976, Mr Johnson introduced the “Magic Variety Show” in 1983. The show initially consisted of magic and comedy; juggling and stage illusions were added a short time later. The production tours schools, colleges and other venues throughout the Northeast.

The magic show and breakfast is included with regular museum admission of $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and college students, and $3 for children 4 and older.

Free parking is available on the street and in People’s Bank parking garage. No reservations are needed. For further information, call 203-331-1104.
