Club Convention June 2 & 3 At Dolce Heritage
SOUTHBURY â The 33rd annual convention of the Wallace Nutting Collectorsâ Club will be held Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3, at the Dolce Heritage.
This will be the premier gathering spot for anyone interested in collecting Wallace Nutting photos or furniture or hand colored photos by other photographers.
Friday afternoon will begin with the annual Wallace Nutting auction, with preview at noon and auction at 2. The auction will contain more than 400 Wallace Nutting photos and 100 photos by Sawyer, Thompson and Davidson, among others. There will also be many pieces of Nutting furniture including an extremely rare #65 Goddard-style tall clock.
Also selling will be the only known portfolio from Wallace Nuttingâs 1904 cruise to the Holy Land. After the auction the hospitality suite will be open into the evening and for participants to meet and network with other collectors in a relaxed atmosphere.
Saturdayâs agenda begins with a sale/trade/exhibit from 7:30 to 9:30 am. This will be followed by the annual club meeting and at 10 am a lecture series by Wallace Nutting experts.
