Carnival A Success

To the Editor:

 The members of United Fire Company of Botsford would like to thank all the friends and families who came out to support us at our 2006 Spring Carnival. Thanks to all of you and several local merchants we had three great days.

A special thanks to The Newtown Knights of Columbus for helping out with the fried dough. We’d also like to thank the following: Rainbow Amusements (Ron, Chris & crew ), Evan Pitkoff and staff, Newtown Police, Newtown Ambulance, Dominic, Jimmy, Max and maintenance crew, Blue & Gold members, Phil Carroll, Dan Barrett for their help and South Main Pizza, Franco’s, Carminuccio’s, Pizza Palace, Lexington Gardens, Lake Compounce Theme Park, Big Y, and Costco, for their donations. We hope to see you all again next April, so tell your friends and families and mark your calendars.
